Jody Olson, MD

Dr. Olson received his degree in medicine from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, US, in 2006. After his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, Minneapolis, he completed fellowships in Critical Care Medicine and Transplant Hepatology at the Mayo School of Graduate Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Olson has been board certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2010. He is a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at the University of Kansas Hospital, in Kansas City, Kansas. Dr. Olson’s research experience has included studies of acute-on-chronic liver failure and liver transplantation. He has presented at a number of congresses, contributed to book chapters, and has published several peer-reviewed articles. He also serves as a member of a number of professional organizations including the American Association of Liver Disease, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the International Liver Transplantation Society.
