Nurse Mottes has over 25 years of pediatric renal replacement therapy experience in both the critical care setting and the outpatient dialysis setting. She earned her RN license from the Bronson Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. In addition to being a Nurse Practitioner at Texas Children’s Hospital, she has served many roles in the ANNA Pediatric Specialty Practice Network. Nurse Mottes is the recipient of the Carolyn Stoll Nursing Grant for her work on simulation-based CRRT education. Her long-term goal is to integrate quality improvement and process improvement strategies to improve the care of CRRT patients.
