Dr. Wheeler graduated from University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL in 2003 and then completed there a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in nephrology. Dr. Wheeler is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology. He has 10 years of CRRT experience and is currently working in practice that includes 14 CRRT machines in the Columbia area. His other academic interests include medical coding and billing, alternative payment models, and nephrology practice finance.
